Poetry & Prose: Regular Mail Submissions Only
We are now accepting submissions through the end of the year for Issue #2, Winter 2009. Also accepting submissions for the Stephen Dunn Prize in Poetry - $1,000 for best poem -- details available on the Contest page.
- Include a brief cover letter, including a short bio, and a SASE with all submissions; submissions without a SASE will be recycled unread.
- Please do not send your original manuscript; due to the large number of submissions received all manuscripts will be recycled. Include a SASE for reply only.
- Do send only one genre per envelope to its appropriate section editor.
- Thank you for helping move your submissions quickly into the hands of our editors.
Poems - include name, address, phone number, and e-mail address on each page.
Fiction/Creative Nonfiction: One prose piece of up to 8,000 words. Shorter work stands a better chance as we try to provide a space for as many voices as possible to be heard.
Prose - include name, address, phone number, and e-mail address on first page, as well as word count.
Visual Art: Submit 3-5 samples of your art work as a file attachment: jpeg or TIFF image files only. Not .exe and not zipped. Each image should be 72dpi, sized for internet viewing.
Images must not exceed 1000 pixels in any dimension & should be no larger than 500kb.

Artwork will be displayed solely online with the launch of each issue and will remain online until the subsequent issue is published (approximately one year).
Send us your best previously unpublished writing or visual art.
Published
includes work that has been previously posted in an internet journal or
on a website that highlights the material as a published piece of
writing.
Contributors receive one copy. All rights revert back to the author upon publication.
